Inaugural Post

Welcome to The Agile Raven, a.k.a. the Agile Raven Blog! My name is Scott Griffith and I'm the founder and Chief Raven at Agile Raven, Inc.—a training and coaching company that runs on Agile principles.

In this blog I will write about applying Agile principles to Life—work, family, play, chores, et cetera. And like most bloggers, I will write about related topics such as critical thinking (of which there’s not enough of that today, IMHO) and the occasional rant.

Why is this blog called “The Agile Raven,” you might wonder? For the same reasons that my company is called Agile Raven, namely:

  1. Ravens (like all corvids) are highly intelligent (for birds)
  2. They express their intelligence through curiosity, analysis, and experimentation
  3. Do a quick video search. There’s some pretty cool ones out. Go ahead, I’ll wait.
  4. Ravens inspect and adapt, which comprise the foundation of Agile
  5. Hugin & Munin—the ravens of Oðin who daily search our world for valuable information, reporting back each night.
Thank you for reading this and any future posts.
