Hi Scott!

I, too, was very encouraged by the Sutherland's work in churches.

For my part, I'm pioneering the concept of "Agile for Lawyers," which is designed to port Agile to the practice of law. While it will have the benefit of helping to align legal IT with lawyers, the purpose is to infuse the practice of law with Agile principles, practices and processes from the ground up.

Several efforts in support are a whole host of web-based resources such as my company site [www.dialexica.com], the "Agile Lawyers Association" [ www.agilelawyersassociation ], the "Agile Agreements" [ www.agileagreements.org ], and the "Agile for Lawyers" [ www.agileforlawyers.com ] website, white paper series and newsletter!

In particular, the Agile Agreements site will be of interest to developers because it is free. When it's gorgeous, the idea and design will reflect a sort of "Stack Overflow" sensibility, which is to say that it is an area of free exchange between lawyers and those they serve in terms of writing durable and workable agreements.

That's just scratching the surface of the colloboration I'm building between the software-based Agile community and the legl profession. But, it's certainy enough for one blog comment!

Right up the road from you, so look forward to meeting you!
